This is the beating heart of the photographic exhibition “Attraverso i nostri occhi” (Through Our Eyes), a project strongly championed by internationally renowned actress Caterina Murino, which arrives at its highly anticipated third stop in Mestre. Animica Art Gallery, a photographic and digital communication studio led by Barbara Pigazzi, proudly announces its support for the initiative, uniting art, friendship, and social commitment.
The “Attraverso i nostri occhi” exhibition is an intense visual journey that gives voice and dignity to those who cannot speak: the dogs and cats housed in shelters. The images displayed are the result of the talent and sensitivity of the photographer Alessandra Cossu, whose works capture the soul and fragility of these animals. Murino and Cossu’s goal is clear: to raise public awareness of the issue of abandonment and promote unconditional love for those she defines as the “eternal children covered in fur and love.”
The event will be held from November 14 to November 28, 2025, at the prestigious Biblioteca Civica di Mestre. Animica Art Gallery sincerely thanks the Mayor of Venice Luigi Brugnaro, the Municipality of Venice, and the Civic Library for this immense opportunity, a true gift to the community and the cause.
A detail of crucial importance: all photographs by Alessandra Cossu will be on sale in 3 numbered formats, and all proceeds will be entirely donated to the shelters.
