“Everyone Deserves a Good Orgasm”: Nicole Kidman Introduces the Provocative Babygirl at the 2024 Venice Film Festival

Today, Nicole Kidman enchanted the red carpet of the 2024 Venice Film Festival, attracting attention not only for her unmistakable charm, but also for the launch of her latest film, Babygirl. After the catwalk, the actress attended the press review, where an interview full of intriguing and provocative ideas took place.

During the meeting with the press, the director of the film, Halina Reijn, also intervened with a statement that immediately caused discussion: “Everyone deserves a good orgasm”. With this bold phrase, the Dutch director introduced Babygirl, an erotic thriller that explores the search for pleasure never felt, entrusting Nicole Kidman with the leading role. Reijn clarified that, although the film deals with liberating themes, Babygirl does not propose itself as the definitive manifesto of sexual emancipation.

Alongside Nicole Kidman, the film also features Antonio Banderas. The cast was warmly welcomed at the press conference, where the discussion focused on eroticism and female desire, central themes of the film.

The conference began with the enthusiasm of Nicole Kidman, who expressed her joy at participating in the Festival with a female director. “We are changing things,” said the actress, proudly highlighting the increase in female presence in and out of competition this year.

The film Babygirl will be released in US theaters on December 25, 2024, while the release date for Italy has yet to be defined.
