Barbara Pigazzi, éNordEst’s Eye at the Venice Film Festival

As éNordEst’s official photographer at the 83rd Venice Film Festival, Barbara Pigazzi shares a first-person account of life on the red carpet: sleepless nights, sun and rain, the wait for the next star to walk by, Leica always in hand.

In her account published on éNordEst, Barbara looks back on the late nights spent selecting and publishing photos with the editorial team, her bond with fellow photographers on the red carpet, and her approach to portraiture — the same specialty she pursues at her Animica Art Gallery studio on Giudecca.
