Adriano Giannini, actor and son of the great Giancarlo Giannini, walked the red carpet of the 83rd Venice International Film Festival in September 2026 to present two major films in competition: L’estranea by Paolo Strippoli (8 September) and Ritorno a Buenos Aires by Marco Bechis (11 September).
Dressed in a navy tuxedo with a satin bow tie, the actor greeted photographers with his trademark charm. For his role in Ritorno a Buenos Aires, a drama about the trauma of the Argentine desaparecidos, he later received the Pasinetti Award for Best Actor, a collateral award of the festival.
