The Venetian studio resumes its full portrait programme throughout June and July 2025

Venice, June 2025 — Something special is coming back to life on the island of Giudecca: Animica Portraits is thrilled to announce the return of dedicated portrait days throughout June and July. A unique opportunity to be photographed by Barbara Pigazzi — an artist whose reputation reaches far beyond the lagoon. Active on the international exhibition scene, with shows across Italy and Europe, she has built a worldwide following, with clients travelling from around the globe to meet her here, in her studio.
Every portrait created at Animica is far more than a photograph: it is an experience, a moment suspended in time where light, emotion and identity meet in front of the lens. Barbara brings to every session a refined vision shaped by years of work between Venice, Giudecca and its islands — a territory she knows deeply and that inspires everything she creates.
Barbara Pigazzi is a fine-art and fashion photographer with an international exhibition career, deeply rooted in the cultural life of Giudecca and the Venetian lagoon.
