Valentina, who lives on the island of Giudecca and runs its stationery shop, wanted to give her father-in-law Francesco, a Sardinian-born grandfather of 83, a precious gift: an authorial family portrait session, signed and printed in fine art by Barbara Pigazzi at Animica Studio Art Gallery.
The session became a true generational portrait: Valentina with her husband Pietro, their children Marta, 16, and Mattia, 23, and grandfather Francesco.
