Renzo Rosso, founder of Diesel, was born and raised in the Piovese area — not far from where our own photographer grew up, who still remembers a small shop in Brugine tied to the entrepreneur’s early years with his mother. Today he leads a fashion group with global reach and is father to seven children, the youngest, Sydne, born to his wife Arianna Alessi — vice president of the OTB Foundation, and of the important Veneto reality “Mai Più,” committed for years to supporting women who are victims of violence.
Rosso walked the red carpet of the 83rd Venice International Film Festival with his wife and daughter, and with festival director Alberto Barbera, for the world premiere of Be Brave, the documentary on his life story.
