BARBARA PIGAZZI - ANIMICA PORTRAITS
On August 17, 2024, I will tell you the story of Vincenzo Veronica and their little Nicola, 11 months old.
Vincenzo and Veronica arrived in Venice from Naples for work commitments, in December 2023, when Nicola was just 3 months old.
They will stay here for a few years; but in September little Nicola will turn 1 year old. These photographs, rigorously printed in Fine Art and Lux Art, are and will be the emotional, existential testimony of their passage as a family, as a couple, but above all as Nicola’s mother and father.
When Nicola grows up, he will have testimony of all this; he will be proud and honoured of this memory.
As per ritual, the photo shoot took place in the studio and outside, at two different times of the day, respecting little Nicola’s meal and nap times.
Description
The narrative frame takes place on the island of Giudecca, in the heart of the fondamenta at the Studio Animica Art Gallery, and then continues in the late sultry afternoon on the beloved Island of San Giorgio, which is located in front of three important historical landmarks of Venice: Punta della Dogana, the Basilica della Salute and Piazza San Marco.
The heart of life is love.
